My primary role is the standardization and implementation of techniques that improve the quality of veterinary diagnostics, specifically in microbiology and molecular biology. My main interests are antimicrobial resistance mechanisms, fungal detection methods, anaerobic bacteria growth mechanisms, molecular assay validation and development, SARS_CoV_2 qPCR, and biosurveillance of various veterinary significant pathogens.
